Introduction
MeasurePM's Offline Mode allows users to continue working when a Wi-Fi or cellular connection is unavailable, limited, or unstable, provided the feature has been enabled for your facility.
While using Offline Mode, all data collected—including program, behavior, and ABC data, SOAP notes, and appointment signatures—is securely stored on the user's device. The next time the user logs in while connected to the internet, they will be prompted to upload the locally stored data to the MeasurePM server.
Your device will not automatically switch to Offline Mode if your internet connection becomes unstable. If you are in the middle of an appointment and receive notifications about an unstable internet connection, we recommend logging out and signing back in using Offline Mode. Follow the steps below to access Offline Mode.
Note: Offline Mode becomes available approximately three months after your organization goes live with data collection services. If you require access sooner, please contact your Clinical Implementation Specialist.
Before Using offline Mode
If you are not using Data Collection services offline (i.e., you are only using soap notes and rendering), you can skip this step.
Prior to using offline mode in which you are planning to take data, the Mobile-App needs to download all of the most up-to-date settings for the client profile. This can be done by logging on the Mobile-App as usual and navigating to the Client Dashboard (in or out of an appointment, depending on permissions). Select the button that says “Download for Offline”.

You will see a notification that program and behavior configurations are downloading.

Using Offline Mode
To log in offline, select the “Offline Mode” checkbox on the main dashboard before logging in. You can enter in offline mode regardless of your device being connected to internet/Wi-Fi (you do not need to turn off your Wi-Fi in order to access offline mode).

You will be asked to confirm that you would like to work offline. Select “OK”.

Collect and commit program and behavior data as you would online. After you commit, you will be brought back to the View All screen. You can view/edit SOAP notes and render your appointment as usual.
Features Unavailable in Offline Mode
Although users can run a full appointment in offline mode, certain features will be unavailable. This includes:
1. Behavior and Program Libraries- Users are unable to map/unmap or change the status of behaviors and programs until they are back online.
2. Behavior and Program Data- Users are unable to view or edit past data and are unable to add new data via Behavior/Program Data Pages. This feature becomes available as soon as the user logs back into online mode.
3. Behavior and Program Graphs- Users are unable to view or edit Behavior/Program graphs. This feature becomes available as soon as the user logs back into online mode.
4. Behavior and Program Configuration- Users are unable to edit Behavior/Program configurations. This feature becomes available as soon as the user logs back into online mode.
After Using Offline Mode
Once a stable network is available, log back into your account, WITHOUT the Offline Mode checkbox selected. You will be prompted to upload your previous session's data. Always select “UPLOAD”.
If you select Discard, all offline mode data will be deleted and is not retrievable.

After logging back in and selecting Upload, all of your appointment data will upload and the aforementioned features will again be available.
