Overview
This guide was developed to provide MeasurePM users with an overview of how Client Clinical Profiles are created, how they are organized, and why.
Organization by Authorization Funding Source and Treatment Type
Client Clinical Profiles are created based on:
- Authorization
- Funding Source
b. Authorization Type
2. Treatment Types
More specifically, a unique Client Clinical Profile will be created for each Primary Funding Source and for each Treatment Type for a given client. If an authorization is added which has the same funding source and same treatment type as an existing authorization, a new profile is not created. However, if a new authorization is added with a different funding source or different treatment type, a new profile is created.
In order to comply with best practices for clinical documentation and reporting of data, MeasurePM maintains separate profiles across Funding Sources. The past clinical data will always remain with the client, but under the original profile in which it was taken, as per the original payer. All new data taken from the new payer will remain under the new payer's profile.
Efficient New Profile Creation
All profiles will be created empty, and then users can map (i.e., add) programs and behaviors and make additional settings. If a profile is created with a different funding source but has the same treatment type as an existing authorization, users will have the option of copying over all clinical profile configurations for that treatment type to the new profile of the same treatment type. This includes all programs, quick access programs, behaviors, and ABC configurations. Only the configurations will transfer over. No data will copy. Please be advised that any configuration changes you make are profile specific. This means program changes and data for each profile will only appear on the respective profile. The copy from feature is available, but it is not required. As a user, you are able to make entirely new configurations for the new profile if you would like. Using the Copy From function is optional.
Below are some screenshots and some specific case examples of how new profiles are created.
Case 1:
If you have one authorization and one treatment type, the client will only have one clinical profile as seen below.

Case 2:
If a new authorization is added with a different funding source, but the same treatment type, a new clinical profile is created and the Copy From feature is available in the profile.

Viewing Multiple Profiles
On Web
If a client has multiple Client Clinical Profiles, each profile will populate and be available from the Client Clinical Profiles tab as seen below. The profiles under this tab will indicate funding source and treatment type in the same manner as in the Client Dashboard Client Clinical Profiles widget. Here, users can look at an overview of profile information across clients.
On Mobile-App
The same will be viewable on the Mobile-App when you select Clinical Profiles from the Employee Dashboard.
