MeasurePM users can now run full VB-MAPP assessments within MPM. All assessments will be viewable and scorable from the Client Clinical Profile. To start using VB-MAPP, please complete the following actions:

  1. Enable the Site Flag:
Your site's access to the VB-MAPP is controlled by a site flag. If you would like to utilize VB-MAPP with one or more of your clients, this flag must be turned on. To turn on the flag navigate to Site Details and Rules --> Site Configurations --> Turn on VMAP Configuration.
  2. Enable the Client Flag:
Once the site flag is on, you can select which clients you would like to conduct a VB-MAPP assessment for. To run an assessment for a learner, the Client Flag must be enabled.

Note that enabling the client flag is permission based. If you would like to be eligible to enable/disable the client flag ensure the following permission is turned on for your admin group:
To enable the Client Flag, navigate to Clients --> List Clients --> Select Client --> Edit Client Bio. Once the bio is open, you will now see a new Assessments tab. All available assessments will be listed within this tab so that you enable the assessment of interest. Note that enabling an assessment for a learner comes at an additional charge of $5/client/month. After enabling and saving the V-MAPP, as seen below, the user will receive an alert notifying them of the fees associated with enabled assessments. If you would like to proceed with enabling and are consenting to the additional charge select "Yes, Enable", and if you do not want to proceed and incur the cost, select "No, Do Not Enable".
  3. Add Assessment via the Client Profile:
Once the site flag and client flag are enabled you are ready to start an assessment for your learner. All assessments will be housed in the Client Clinical Profile. Note that unlike program and behavior configurations, VB-MAPP assessments are synced across a client's profiles. This means regardless of which client profile you open, the assessment will show and be accessible.
To get started, open a Client Profile and then select the Assessments tab from the top of the page. Once opened, a blank table will be displayed. To add an assessment select the "+" icon from the bottom of the table, select VB-MAPP from the pop up and save. Note that if the site flag or client flag is not turned on, the VB-MAPP will not be accessible, this is also indicated in red text within the pop up. Once saved, a new entry will be added to the table where you can now begin scoring your assessment.

Within the table you will see the following:

  1. Assessment: The name of the assessment will remain "VB-MAPP".
  2. Date: This will be the start date of the assessment. If you need to edit the start date at any point, select "Edit Date/Color" from the Access column.
  3. Milestones Raw Score: This column will display the Milestones Raw Score and will be updated each time you make changes to the assessment.
  4. Status: This column will display a progress bar to indicate how much of the assessment has been completed.
  5. Edit/Access: Within Access you have several options:

    1. Score Assessment: This option will only be available for the current assessment. If selected, it will render a pop up informing you that you are about to open the VB-MAPP App, and once OK is selected from the pop up, the VB-MAPP app will open; you are not able to start scoring the assessment.
    2. View Assessment: This option is only available for finalized assessments. An assessment is considered finalized after a new assessment has been added. If selected, the same pop up as Score Assessment will be displayed and selecting OK from the pop up will open the VB-MAPP page in full.

Selecting Score or View will bring you to the same assessment overview page where you can navigate to the various tabs in order to view all past assessment scores and score the current ongoing assessment.
    3. Edit Date/Color: This will allow you to edit the start date of the assessment and the color the assessment to appear on the scoring grids.

Once your selections have been made, select Save from the pop up for your changes to take effect. You will see these changes reflected in the Date column within the MPM table, the IEP report, and all assessment scoring grids.
    4. Download Assessment PDFs: Once selected, all 4 scoring grids (i.e., Milestones, Barriers, Transitions, and Task Analysis) will be downloaded as PDFs.
    5. Download IEP Report: Once selected, a pre-filled IEP report will export as a Word document. Note that at this time, this option is only available once the assessment is completed. An assessment is considered completed once another assessment has been added.

If you would like to return to MPM after scoring the assessment, select the "Go Back" button in the top righthand corner. This will bring you back into the Assessments tab in the profile and the assessment will auto-sync within MPM. This means the Milestones score within the MPM table will be updated along with the PDFs and IEP report.

If you exit the VB-MAPP page by either closing your browser tab or navigating to another page without first selecting "Go Back", you will need to sync the assessment once you are back in MPM. To sync the assessment, select "Sync Assessment"; this button will be always be available so that you can sync the assessment at any time, however, it is only mandatory to do so in the aforementioned scenarios.

VB-MAPP Usage Data Report

The VB-MAPP Usage Data Report allows you to easily see which clients are utilizing the VB-MAPP and provides an overview of when the client flag was enabled/disabled.

Access to this report is controlled by the following permission:

If enabled, the report will be found under clinical data reports. You have the option of filtering by All Clients or selecting individual clients. Once Go is selected the report will populate below. The report displays the client name, date the VB-MAPP client flag was activated, and the date the flag was deactivated. If a "-" is displayed in the column it is indicating a null value, meaning that the report is still active. Note, only clients that have had the flag enabled will be displayed in this report. As with all other data reports you are able to export to Excel or CSV and can filter using the column funnel icon from the MPM generated report.

Stay tuned for more exciting VB-MAPP updates!
