Overview

Measure PM introduces a new feature for enhanced payroll management. The "Approved & Locked" and "Paid & Locked" statuses ensure a secure and error-free payroll system by preventing changes to appointments once payroll is finalized. This feature applies across all sites and is not flag-based, providing a consistent experience for users.

Introduce two new payroll statuses:

  1. Approved & Locked
  2. Paid & Locked

These statuses will enable administrators to finalize payroll securely while maintaining the integrity of payroll records.





Functionality:

  1. Marking Payroll Status
    Administrators can mark an employee's payroll as "Approved & Locked" or "Paid & Locked" from designated screens within the Measure PM Web-App. 

  2. Rules for Locked Payroll:

    • Web-App Restrictions:
      Users cannot add new appointments with statuses (Confirmed, Cancelled, Rendered) for the same employee within the locked pay period via the calendar view.
    • Mobile-App Restrictions:
      Users cannot add new appointments with statuses (Confirmed, Cancelled, Rendered) for the same employee within the locked pay period via the appointment view.
  3. Exception Handling:

    • If the "Ignore Rule" checkbox is checked, new appointments can still be created within the locked pay period.
    • Error Message in Case of Failure:
      "The payroll is locked for this pay period, please reach out to your administrator for any updates."
