Measure PM introduces an exciting enhancement to the Gamification module, allowing users to earn points for billable appointments or hours rendered within the pay period. This update encourages timely rendering and ensures all users can track their progress transparently and efficiently.

What’s New?

A new gamification rule has been added to reward users for rendering billable appointments or hours within the pay period. Points are awarded based on appointments rendered by 11:59 PM on the last day of the pay period, regardless of the scheduled date.



Key Features:

  1. New Rule Implementation:

    • Points Awarded:
      • X points per billable appointment rendered.
      • Or X points per hour of billable appointment rendered.
  2. Rounding Rules:

    • Points calculation follows existing rounding logic:
      • 1 hour = X points
      • 0.75 hour = 0.75X points
      • 0.5 hour = 0.5X points
      • 0.25 hour = 0.25X points
      • 7-Minute Rule for Rounding:
        • Less than 3 minutes = 0 points.
        • 6 minutes = X point.
        • 18 minutes (rounded to 15 minutes) = 0.25X point.
  3. Rendering Deadline:

    • Appointments must be rendered before 11:59 PM on the last day of the pay period to qualify for points.
  4. Flexible Rendering Locations:

    • Rendering actions can be performed from:
      • Web-App: My Appointments, Calendar View, and List View.
      • Mobile-App: Any location where rendering is allowed.
  5. Point Tracking:

    • Points earned from this rule are reflected in:
      • My Points Section
      • Game Dashboard
      • Data Reports
  6. Leaderboard Updates:

    • The new rule will be displayed under the leaderboards for both Web and Mobile, with the following descriptions:
      • "X points per hour of billable appointment rendered by the end of the pay period"
      • Or "X points per billable appointment rendered by the end of the pay period"

  7. Appointment History:

    • Rendering reasons will display as "Rendering Requirement", consistent with current functionality.
  8. Impact of Status Changes:

    • If an appointment status changes from Rendered to another status, points will be removed.
    • If re-rendered and compliant with the rule, points will be reinstated.
