We’ve released an important update to the Web that ensures accuracy and compliance across employee data when their type changes. This feature enhances system behavior by automatically managing credentials, qualifications, clearances, and trainings based on the selected employee type.
What’s New?
When a user changes an employee’s type from their profile, the system will now trigger a confirmation pop-up with the following message:
"Changing an employee's type will expire and deactivate any clearances, qualifications, and credentials that are not available to the new employee type. This action cannot be undone and anything that is expired will need to be manually updated should the employee type be changed back."
This ensures that users are fully informed before making a change that affects linked data.
Pop-Up Confirmation: Appears only when the employee type is changed. If no change is made to the employee type, no confirmation appears.
User Choice:
Selecting "Yes" will expire and mark credentials, qualifications, clearances, and trainings as inactive if they are not linked to the new employee type.
Selecting "No" will cancel the update.
