We’re excited to announce a new configuration update that gives your team more flexibility and clarity when managing sessions on leave days.

What's New?

we’ve introduced a new permission and updated an existing one to give your organization greater control over how sessions behave when staff are on leave.

New Permission:

DPAL (Dummy Provider on Approved Leave)

Purpose: Allows you to decide if sessions should automatically be reassigned to a dummy provider only when leave is approved.

  • Enabled: Sessions that fall on approved leave days will be automatically moved to the dummy provider.

  • Disabled: Sessions will remain unchanged, regardless of leave approval.

Updated Permission:

ASUA (Appointment Status Update on Assignment)

We’ve improved the wording of the existing ASUA permission for better clarity.

New Description:
If enabled, automatically change the session’s status to Unconfirmed when a session is moved to a dummy provider due to an approved leave day.”

  • Enabled: Status changes to Unconfirmed after the session is moved to the dummy provider.

  • Disabled: The session status remains unchanged, even if reassigned.

What This Means for You:

  • You now have full control over whether sessions are moved and/or marked unconfirmed when staff are on leave.

  • These changes help avoid unwanted session changes and keep your schedules accurate and intentional.
