We’ve added a new Authorization Type called Tertiary to MeasurePM (MPM). This update is intended only for authorization tracking and reporting and does not introduce any new functional behavior in the system.


What Changed

A new option, Tertiary, is now available when creating or editing an authorization:

  • Located under Client Profile > Authorizations > Funding Source

  • Appears after Primary and Secondary

  • Can be saved and edited like existing authorization types


Important Usage Clarification

To avoid confusion, please note the following:

  • Tertiary is an authorization classification only

  • It is not related to employees

  • You do not need to create or associate an employee for this authorization type

  • Selecting Tertiary will not affect:

    • Scheduling

    • Billing

    • Payroll

    • Claims or system calculations

This authorization type exists strictly for documentation, tracking, and reporting purposes.


Reporting:

Any report that includes an Authorization Type column will now display Tertiary where applicable (including the Authorization Details Report).
