Overview

MeasurePM is excited to introduce of addional behavior statuses. Statuses are chosen at the Site Level, meaning if any of the available statuses are not relevant for your practice, they can be kept inactive, and will not be visible elsewhere within your site. With the introduction of additional behavior statuses, providers can better align reporting with the industry’s requirements.

Note: The previously labelled Active status has been replaced by In Progress and Archived has been replaced with Discontinued.

Please see the information below for updates and changes made across the Web and Mobile-App relating to this enhancement.

Clinical Settings

Sites are now able to determine which behavior statuses they want displayed within Client Clinical Profiles. Activating statuses is done via Clinical Settings > Settings > Behavior Statuses.

Available statuses include:

  1. In Progress
  2. Maintenance
  3. Goal Met
  4. On Hold
  5. Discontinued
  6. Previous Goal

In Progress status can never be inactivated, however, all other statuses can be active (selected) or inactive (unselected). All active statuses will be displayed within clinical profiles (i.e., behaviors can be mapped and moved to any of the active/included statuses). Note, statuses cannot be inactivated if behaviors have been mapped to that status within a Client Clinical Profile. As a reminder, only users with the following permission can configure their site’s clinical settings.

Client Clinical Profile

Web-App

All previously “Active” behaviors will now fall under the In Progress status, and all previously “Archived” behaviors will be listed under Discontinued. The Behavior Statuses displayed within the Client Clinical Profile are dictated by the Behavior Status selections made in Clinical Site Settings. Dependent upon the number of active behaviors statuses, some statuses might be hidden when first navigating to the client’s profile. To hide or reveal the behaviors statuses, select the “See More” or “Hide” button. When in a clinical profile, the user can utilize the drag and drop feature to move behaviors into different statuses.

An alternative is to alter statuses via the Behavior Library button. Once in the Behavior Library, users can map new behaviors or change status by revealing the status dropdown menu. Statuses listed here will match the statuses in the client’s profile and are based on the statuses made active at the site level. All status changes are saved upon selecting the “Save” button.

Note: Data can only be collected via the Mobile-App for In Progress and Maintenance status behaviors. Therefore, if users intend on recording data, one or both statuses need to be made active from Clinical Site Settings.

In addition, In Progress and Maintenance behaviors will automatically be available options under the ABC Behavior Property in the Client Clinical Profile.

Mobile-App

Active statuses will be listed in the View All tab on the Mobile-App. To navigate between statuses you can either use the left and right arrows to scroll through statuses or select from the now available dropdown menu.

The same statuses will be available options when mapping (i.e., assigning or adding) new behaviors to the client’s profile or changing the status of existing ones.  Continue tapping on the behavior of interest until the desired status is reached or hold down the behavior of interest for 3 seconds to reveal a pop-up where users can proceed with making a status selection.

Graphing Module (Web only)

  1. Program/Behavior Graphs
Only active statuses will be available in the Behavior Status dropdown menu (i.e., statuses that were made active at the site level). The generated list of behaviors will still be dependent on the status selection. Note: Previously Active behaviors will be captured under the In Progress status and Archived behaviors will be captured under Discontinued.

  2. Cumulative Graphs
The statuses available in the Behavior Status dropdown will only include those that are active (i.e., made active at the site level).

Progress Reports (Web only)

Existing generated progress reports will not be impacted by the change/addition of statuses. “Active” and “Archived” statuses in any behavior property will be maintained.

Any newly generated reports with the “BehaviorReduction” system property will pull client behavior data based upon the active behavior statuses. For example, if only In Progress and Maintenance are active, it will only display the client’s In Progress and Maintenance behaviors within the progress report.

When a Behavior custom property is created, only the site active statuses will be available for selection. Therefore, once mapped to a template and that report is generated for a client, it will generate behavior tables based on the selected status.

Clinical Data Reports (Web only)

An additional column, which displays the behavior status at the time of committing data, has been added to the Clinical Data Behavior Summary Report. This will allow users to efficiently filter through generated reports based on behavior statuses.
