MeasurePM is thrilled to announce new features that span across our recent Mobile-App releases. Please see the information below outlined by topic, and see the updated permission guide which reflects any relevant changes.
Success Criteria and Trend Tracking
Enhancements to Success Criteria
When configuring success criteria there are now several additional configurable options. Success criteria can be configured in the program library on the Web or in the clinical clinical profile on the Web or Mobile-App.
When criteria is detected you can opt for:
- Notify Supervisor- If this option is selected, the individuals outlined as supervisors in the clinical profiles will be alerted that success criteria was detected via notifications.
- Commit Alert- If this option is selected, the user running the appointment on the Mobile-App will be notified of detection after committing the data.
- Lock- Data collection for the program will be temporarily paused and staff will be ineligible to resume data collection until a a user with permission unlocks the program.
- Phase line- If selected, a 'Mastered Phase' line will be added to Web and Mobile-App graphs automatically after detection.
You can opt to have criteria detected across:
- Commit(s)- Criteria can be detected acorss 1-20 pieces of committed data. If this option is chosen MPM will evaluate each piece of committed data.
- Appointment(s)- Criteria can be detected across 1-10 appointments. If this option is chosen MPM will evaluate data from rendered appointments every 30 minutes. Note that if this option is chosen, commit alert will be unavailable.
- Day(s)- Criteria can be detected across 1-10 days. If this option is chosen MPM will evaluate all committed data each night at. Detection will occur nightly at 12:30am PST. Note that if this option is chosen, commit alert will be unavailable.
- Week(s)- Criteria can be detected across 1-4 weeks. If this option is chosen MPM will evaluate all committed data each week. Detection will occur every Sunday night at 1:00am PST. Note that if this option is chosen, commit alert will be unavailable.
You can opt for per program or per target detection:
- Per Program- All committed program data will be evaluated together.
- Per Target- Individually committed target data will be evaluated. Note that if this option is chosen, lock will be unavailable.
Enhancements to Trend Detection
There is now an additional trend available for detection and enhancements to trend detection configurations have been made. The newest trend is titled Worse than X% (3). If at least one data path on a given program graph reaches at or below the percent accuracy designated in the “threshold column” for this trend, for 3 consecutive data points, this trend is detected.
Trends can be configured at the site level, the program library level, and at the client clinical profile level. Across each of these locations, users have the ability to choose the trend, enter a threshold value and configure action items. The available action items are Commit Alert, Notify Supervisor, Phase Line, and Lock. Each are described in the table below.
Action Item | Description | Example |
Commit Alert | The user running the appointment on the Mobile-App will be notified of detection after committing the data.
Notify Supervisor | The supervisor designated in the Supervisor section of the clinical profile will receive a notification of trend detection. The notification will appear in the bell icon on the Web and Mobile-App.
Phase Line | A phase line with the trend name and threshold value will be added to Web and Mobile-App graphs automatically after detection.
Lock | Data collection for the program will be temporarily paused and staff will be ineligible to resume data collection until a user with permission unlocks the program. |
For more detailed information please see this full Program Configuration guide.
Unlocking Programs from Web
Within Clinical Profiles on the web, users are now able to see programs which have been locked due to detection of success criteria or trend tracking, and can unlock the program as long as they have the required permission.
Related permission:
To unlock, navigate to a client clinical profile. Any program that shows a small lock icon beside it is indicating that it is locked. A temporary pause has been put on data collection and data collection cannot resume until the program is unlocked.
Select the lock icon to render a pop up explanation of why the program is locked. From this pop up you are able to unlock the program if desired or select the x to close.
Showing Decision Points on Graphs
Within client graphs users can opt to view/hide decision point indicators. If a success criteria or trend has been detected, the point of detection can be highlighted in color on the graph. If you would like the decision point marker to be hidden, please leave the "Hide Success Criteria/Trend Detection Markers" selected. Note, this is the default selection. If you would like it to show, simply unselect the checkbox. This concept applies to both Web and Mobile-App graphs.
On the Web's and Mobile-App's graphing module is a "?" icon, which is located beside the checkbox. If selected, a pop up will open with an explanation of what the checkboxes do. If the checkbox is unselected, various colored markers will be displayed over the data points on the graph:
Green: Success Criteria met
Pink: Trend detected
Blue: Both Success Criteria met and trend detected simultaneously
These points will not always be displayed depending on what filter selections are made. Specifically, trend detection markers are only visible when viewing per committed program graphs, and success criteria detection markers can be shown across x-axis graph types, and their display will depend on the program configuration in the profile and committed data. I.e., If configurations are set to be detected across days and you are looking at a per day graph, the markers will be visible. If configurations are set to be detected across weeks and you are looking at a per day graph, the markers will not be visible.
Both success criteria and trend tracking markers will be hidden if the following filters are being used: Data Recorded, Response types, Provider, and Location.
